Regular Events and Teams at the SSC
Although many of you are regular visitors to the Club, there are some members that only visit on an occasional basis and therefore miss some of the important notices that are displayed around the Club from time to time.
Meat Draw
The Meat Draw is held every Friday evening at the Club. Tickets cost £1 a strip and the draw takes place at around 9pm. Meat for the draw is supplied by an excellent local butcher and delivered fresh to the Club on a Friday morning.
Bonus Ball Game
Select your number from 1 - 59 and pay £1 into the pot. If your chosen number matches the National Lottery Bonus Ball number on the Saturday night draw, you win the top prize of £50 cash in the pot. Simple really! Numbers can be chosen from Ian at the door on a Friday or from behind the bar at anytime. The £9 weekly profit is put back into the Club to support the childrens/OAPs functions.
Bingo
Bingo has been a regular event at the Club for a number of years. It is held every Wednesday and the game comprises 10 houses and 2 flyers. Excellent cash prizes are available.Entry fee £1.00 for non-members. Please check with the Club the date of the next Wednesdays game.
Chase the Joker takes place every Friday evening at the Club. If your raffle ticket is the lucky ticket when the draw is made you are invited to choose from a maximum of 53 Enveleopes, one of which will hold the Joker card, If the envelope you have chosen contains the Joker, you are the winner of the total prize money. If the envelope you have chosen doesn't contain the Joker you still win 10% of the tickets sold in that week, the chosen envelope is removed from the pack, the envelopes will reduce week on week and prize money rolls over to the following week. The prize money is capped at a massive £10,000! - This is for members only!!
Big Screen Football Matches
The Club regularly shows Big Screen Football and boasts 2 x 75" TV screen for the full viewing experience, plus a full size projector screen in the Function Room. Please check with the Club if you need to know if your favoured match is to be shown.
Pool, Darts, and Football Teams
Both the pool and darts teams meet on a regular basis for home and away matches. The Darts Team is part of the Blackwater & District Winter Darts league and the Pool team part of the Bracknell and District League.
Yateley Offshore Sailing Club (YOSC)
YOSC use the Social Club premises regularly on Monday evenings as the venue for their weekly social evening and once a month they hold a guest speaker evening in the Function Room. Social Club members that may have an interest in sailing, and would like to know more about YOSC, should contact them directly via the link below.
